how-to.

how to make your own non-slip hangers:

 1. gather: wooden hanger, glue, scissors, textured lace.

 2. snip off two pieces of lace...about 3 or 4 inches long each.

3. fold the lace in half, lengthwise, and snip diagonally across each end...this will help the lace wrap around the hanger better.

4. snip snip!

5. make a little line o' glue along the edge of your hanger...not too much, you don't want it squooshing through the lace and making a mess.

6. pat one side of the lace down on the hanger over the glue.

7. center the lace so that there are equal amounts wrapping both edges of the hanger.

7. repeat on the other side; voila!  the textured lace will grip your lovely scoopneck shirts and eliminate slippage onto the floorage.

What a great tutorial!

I just wanted to let you know that I featured one of your skirts in my list for the etsy poster contest.

YOU ROCK!  Seriously, I am tired of spending money on gadgets at Container Store, and this will save me some money.
